Starting off 2015!!

 Not sure how the last time I updated this little blog was 3.5 months ago, but it was! So much has happened in that time it's almost impossible to catch up! Firstly this little bean is just growing way too quickly. Sitting on her own now, sleeping through the night and she's now eating solids! Her first tooth just came through on the weekend too! Always a bittersweet time when they start doing new things which means this baby stage will be over before I know it.

A few days before she was 6 months old we moved Zoey into Alivia's room- which is now officially the girls' room!

Early in January we took a trip to the zoo with Daddy! There was hardly anyone else there, we were the only ones at the reptile talk so the kids got to see and touch the snake and watch the caimans get fed. So many of the animals were out and so close to the fence!

We had a tiny bit of snow. the kids were so excited even though it was barely a dusting.

Zoey's first ponytail

Alivia took out a book from the library called Pink Cupcake Magic, we must have read it 100 times and of curse had to make our own cupcakes just like the book!

And I don't even know what these 2 are doing but they just crack me up, always getting into mischeif together- mo wonder people ask if they're twins!

Jaxon had a field trip to Science World, Jordan worked half a day and met us there after.

This winter has felt more like spring and we've been outside playing and going to the park whenever possible! Jaxon had an Art class on Thursday and a PE class on Friday so while he's there I try to take the kids to the park or Library, or Mcdonald's to get out some energy. So here's a random compilation of all of our park visits over the last few months.

Of course our backyard is one our favourite places to play, Mya has been over with Oma and Lilly on many weekends when Jordan was working and everyone would be outside playing. We had some amazing sunny days that have been so warm the kids end up putting on their bating suits... or just going in their underwear!

Of course Jordan always has a million projects on the go, he made carriage doors for his dad's workshop. It was a big job but they look amazing, of course the boys and Alivia are usually out there helping him.

Uncle Conrad and Auntie Cori came home from China... for good! Alivia wanted her nails painted and Auntie Cori happily obliged. The boys wanted in on the action too

Alivia had show and tell at preschool, so we joined in the end of her class to take part.

Jaxon had a fall in PE class and really hurt his arm, he went to the doctor and got a splint since they thought it might be fractured. The next day he went for x-rays and everything came back fine, it was just a sprain and he was back to normal in a couple days!

 Only the second time having food and she completely polished it off and was grabbing for more.

Zoey and her buddy Jesse! So funny that he is 3 months older... but not any bigger! These 2 are just the cutest!

I just love our zoo pass, and the kids of course do too! We have been using it so much since it's been so beautiful out. This was another fun afternoon with my crew at the zoo!

Now we're already half way through March in the winter that has felt more like spring! Jordan's been working 10 hour days and Saturdays for the past few weeks now, it makes it nice to have the extra money but it's hard on everyone to have less time together. Amazing Grandma to the rescue- she's taken the kids out for bike rides when she's home from work to give me a little break or for me to get dinner ready! I joined them the one day too.

Took the boys to the track one day while Alivia was at preschool, Jaxon loved it and ran 2 laps without stopping! I think we have a runner on our hands, Hudson ran a few feet and then hopped on the buggy!

This poor baby girl has been all out of sorts, her schedule and sleeping habits have been terrible! Then I realized her first tooth came through and it all made sense. I wasn't expecting it to be teething since my earliest before her was Jaxon and he didn't get his first tooth until 9 months. My fourth time at this and it can still feel so new, but she has been extra snuggly and I love that part of it!

and that brings us to Hudson's birthday! Phew!
