With the long weekend comes an extra day with Daddy, which everyone always enjoys! Saturday was a beautiful sunny day so we decided to go to the zoo as a family. I got a membership last summer and went so often with the kids even into the cooler fall months, this was the first time though that me and Jordan both took all the kids and it has been a few months since we've gone at all. It was a wonderful day, Alivia and Jaxon could walk along at their own pace and they loved looking at all the animals. We took the train around the zoo as well and got to see so many of the animals that sometimes seem to be hiding. I love our membership as it is so nice to just pack up a go even for a couple hours on a sunny day, and it is paid for in about 2 visits. We brought snacks/lunch and the kids got to play on the playground. They were so wiped afterwards and had a good nap that afternoon. Another fun family day!
