Our first full day up in the interior, we joined the Stoker's at their relatives dairy farm in Armstrong to celebrate Michelle's birthday and of course take our annual visit to the dairy barn. here the kids are enjoying some ice cream cake!
The kids all got to ride in this off road vehicle and they also took turns with Jordan or Robbie on the ATV. They had just way too much fun!!
We went to the barn and found kitties to cuddle and take a look at all the cows, some just born that day all the way up to big pregnant ones and sick or old ones!
The next day was a beach day, it wasn't super sunny but that didn't stop us from enjoying the water and playing in the sand.
Even when we're not at the beach there's always lots to do, play ping pong, play at the playground, ride bikes around and the list goes on.
We got a wonderful hot day and spent over 6 hours down at the beach. Some other family there had a boy Jaxon's age and they had this little green kayak that the kids got to use. It didn't take Jaxon long to figure it out and was paddling around like a pro and taking Livy and Hudson for rides. Jaxon was swimming out to the dock all by himself, and it didn't take long for Liv to join him! Husdon and I did our fair share of floating around, it was so relaxing and comfortable- not to mention it kept me cool being on the water.
Our week started with nothing but sunny days! We headed into town on Wednesday morning as we needed a few groceries we had run out of. After a quick lunch we spent yet another afternoon down at the beach!
Unfortunately the weather turned, Thursday morning started off sunny but by the afternoon it was raining. It was still quite warm so we stuck it out for a bit before heading into Kelowna to a place called Scandia (comparable to Castle Fun Park). Everyone play the arcade games until we ran out of tokens then the big 'kids' and Jaxon all went on the go- karts! We went out to White Spot for dinner before heading back to the campsite, by the time we got back the weather had cleared and the evening was spent playing baseball, basketball and riding bikes.
Then we were already near the end of our week- how do holiday's always go so quickly? Our last full day here and it was much like the one before. We made the best of it, and it was super relaxing for me as Jordan let me have a long nap in the afternoon while he amused the kids at the swings and playground. We went to the beach even though it wasn't that nice and the kids still ended up going in the water anyways!
