| We found the biggest snail I've ever seen, Jaxon is holding it here |
Somehow the kids weren't completely traumatized from the previous hike so a week later we went out to Cultus Lake and hiked Teapot Hill. This was another challenging steep hike, but the kids had a lot of fun, as we got nearer the top there were teapots and cups placed throughout the forest and we counted 28 in total.
And then somehow a couple weeks flew by and we didn't get out for any hikes, so near the end of July we managed to go out to the flight path park near Vancouver International airport with the Diachuk's and van Leeuwen's. After spending a couple hours there watching the planes land we headed to Terra Nova Park to find some shade and a playground.
We also spent an afternoon at Hayward lake in Mission with our friends. It was a great day enjoying a new beach and swimming in the lake.
