Bright and Beautiful!

It has been awhile since I've been on here so here is a little update about our progress...
After many, many hours of prepping, priming and now painting our house is starting to look AMAZING and we're getting more excited every day to move in. Last weekend we were busy getting everything painted with so much help from Jordans parents (we couldn't have done it without them) and my dad helping on Monday we pulled it off just in time for our new carpets which came on Tuesday. Jordan and I both had a nice change of pace last weekend and he stayed home with the kids while I went and painted for 4-6 hours, then I would stay home with them while he went and painted. It gave us both a nice break from all the craziness and business we normally deal with and he got to spend some much needed time with all our children. This whole week has been a blur, actually the last 2 months have kind of been a blur- Yes it has been 2 months since we moved in with Mom and Dad! But all the hours and all the hard work and lack of sleep finally caught up with Jordan, after dealing with a headache for 3 days and a stiff neck that he could hardly move, he slept for 11 hours last night and took today off of work (but of course went to work on the house). My AMAZING in laws helped me clean the kitchen this week not to mention all the countless hours they have put in painting, my Dad was painting doors with us a couple nights this week too and my Mom would watch the kids some evenings so I could go help out as well. We are SO blessed to have such awesome parents who are so willing to help us even though they expect nothing in return. And guess what... tomorrow is MOVING DAY!
Here are some pictures of some of the rooms before and after!

  1. Awesome job!!! looks so fabulous! Love the bright beautiful colors you chose. Especially the kids rooms. Alivia's tree is so beautiful! Well done! And happy moving! I know you've been looking forward to this day for so so long! I'm thrilled for you. It will be so nice for you all to be able to enjoy your home and appreciate all those long hard hours of work and time away from each other. And then Jordan can really rest :) It's hard for them men to rest when they know there's work to be done, hey? Now he can rest without feeling guilty!
HOORAY! this post makes me happy :) Thanks for sharing!
