Time Flies

It has now been 43 days since we packed up with our week and a half old, 15 month old and 3 year old and moved into my parents house. It's been a crazy whirlwind and it has gone by so fast, we are all getting anxious to move into our new place- last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Jordan had gone to the house after working 10 hours and has been preparing and prepping for paint working for about 4-5 hours on the house, he spent all day Saturday and most of Sunday there too. This week is starting off the same putting in late nights after long days to get it finished. It's been draining on everyone- Jordan because he's only getting 5 hours of sleep and working like crazy, myself because being a mother to 3 children is just exhausting in itself and bedtime by myself is not exactly my favourite part of the day and the wee ones because they only see Daddy for an hour or so a day. Thankfully this is only short term and in a matter of weeks we can get back to 'normal'- our routine, our schedule.

Aside from all that excitement life continues to fly by in the way it does, Hudson getting bigger and chubbier (if that's possible) he'll already be 8 weeks on Wednesday. He's smiling lots these days and starting to make the sweetest cooing sounds when you talk to him. Alivia's picking up new words everyday she now says please and thank you, bubbles, more, bottle, cracker, bathroom and the list goes on- her words aren't perfectly clear but the sounds are definite enough you know what she's trying to say. Her newest thing is giving kisses, especially to Hudson she just walks over and kisses him while he sleeps in his chair. Jaxon suddenly seems all grown up riding his pedal bike, he practically lives outside in the sandbox and always has to take Alivia to play with him. I am a blessed woman to have all these amazing wonderful people in my life and try to remember that every day is a gift and to have fun with my children even if we just stay home and don't go anywhere 'exciting'.

We did get to have a wonderful visit with some of our friends last week, the kids got to play together and us mommies got to catch up. It's such a blessing to have such amazing friends who are dealing with the exact same things I am (3 or 4 kids close in age all with new babies). Here is Hudson and his buddies...
