K for Kangaroo

WOW! It seems like forever since I did any structured activities with the kids, and it felt so good to get back on track and continue with our alphabet. After the first day Jaxon was also so excited as he keeps wondering what craft/ activity we're doing next and what letter comes after this one!
W didn't do too much, just easing back into it, the kids coloured a letter K I cut out. They coloured a picture of a kangaroo. They also painted a large 'kite' (just a diamond shape) then we hung it on the wall.

We had a beautiful sunny, but cold day so we decided to go to the zoo!!
We didn't have any luck finding an animal that started with K, until we saw a new exhibit- the zoo is getting red kangaroos!!!!
