Unfortunately I have the worst memory ever, and can't even remember things that happened a couple days ago but thank goodness for picutres to help with my memories.
This past Wednesday we had Jaxon's first field trip with preschool and we got to go to the Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch. I took Hudson and Liv along of course and Oma came along for the trip too.
We got to pet the goats and sheep when we arrived, always a highlight for the kids and Hudson just goes wild for the animals.
We then got a little 'classroom' time in the outdoor tent and learned all about pumpkins. Did you know the name of a pumpkin stem is actually a Peduncle! Such a fun word to say. We also leaned there are many different colours of pumpkins, of course there are orange ones, there is also white, yellow, red, blue and pink!
We got a hayride to the pumpkin patch and the kids got to pick there own pumpkin, for Alivia and Jaxon this was quite the ordeal. They both changed their minds at least 10 times, Jaxon came away with a Ghost pumpkin (which is white) and Alivia cam away with the most adorable little orange pumpkin.
Hudson hitched a ride on my back (it's hard work lugging a 25 lbs. baby around)
Jaxon LOVES preschool and LOVES his teachers, he asked Mrs. Brenda to sit with him on the tractor ride back.
We had beautiful sunny weather and a fun time together.
