G is for Gift

Another week that unfortunately wasn't full of activities or inspiration...
Jaxon of course practicing his printing- with a very interested little sister!

We played with Goo- just cornstarch and water, it's liquidy then you squeeze it in your hand and it will go hard then open your hand and it's a liquid again. The kids loved this messy activity and played with it for over 45 minutes.

We also used Glitter and Glue to make sparkly shapes on waxed paper (hoping we could then peel it off and put them on the window). That didn't work very well though, maybe a better glue?

We also used Gel and gave Jaxon spiky hair!

I made a sensory bag, putting in green gel, green glitter, green tree confetti, goats and a green whale. I put tape along the top of the ziploc bag so the kids couldn't open it. They love squishing it and looking for the different objects.

We were also able to go to the zoo again we found gecko's, guanaco's, geese and giraffe's (they were in their barn though so we took a picture with the statue). We didn't go last week since we went to the pumpkin patch so we also looked for animals that started with F- flamingos

throwing leaves!

Jaxon also got a 'gift of goodies from Grandma Grace'. She's wonderful with asking Jaxon about his letter and talking about words associated with it, so she gave him some candies to play along and came up with that phrase!
