Jaxon and Alivia practiced printing the letter W. Well Jaxon did his printing, Alivia just coloured and Hudson was being a goof.
We also used Water paints, glue and salt to make some new art work for the wall.
We didn't do any other W activities but did play Jaxon's alphabet game he got for Christmas. We played it once and have since had to play it every day, it's so great for letter recognition though. Alivia usually makes it half way through before she gets bored and finds something else to do.
We did another fun, easy activity that we have done before. Putting baking soda in a pan and coloured vinegar in cups, use an eye dropper to make small 'explosions of colour'in the pan. The kids loved it, Alivia had a hard time using the eye dropper so it was even better for fine motor development.
Thinking that after a summer break we will start the alphabet over again, focussing on teaching Alivia this time- maybe I should start at the end since these last few months have been pretty uninspired!
